Whether your unit is a purchase or a rental, we can deliver your container to your site quickly as long as the necessary conditions are met at your site. We deliver locally either the same day or the next business day. Out-of-state deliveries anywhere in the Southeast region or on the East Coast are typically fulfilled in two to three business days, depending on the distance.

Use our easy checklist below to make sure your site is ready to accept your container:

• Are two 6"x6"x8' treated timbers or railroad ties on hand to place under the ends of the container? (These support the container off the ground and facilitate air flow under the unit to reduce moisture.)
• Is there sufficient access to your jobsite from the road to deliver your unit? Anticipate the room the over-the-road tractor/trailer will need to turn onto your property. Keep in mind obstructions like fences, ditches, and the angle of approach the truck will have to make from the highway.
• Will the ground conditions be solid enough to support the complete truck, trailer and container? No soft areas such as septic tanks or wells can be in the path the truck will need to deliver and pull away from the dropped container. Particularly wet conditions can delay the delivery of a container as well.
• Is the ground level, or nearly level, from the site entrance over the delivery route to the drop area?
• Is there a 13.5' clearance over the delivery route on the jobsite, free of tree limbs and power lines (including temporary power lines)?
• Is there a sufficient perimeter around the location where the unit will be placed? For a 20-foot container, you must clear an opening 10' wide by 55' long; for a 40-foot unit, you'll need a 10' wide by 105' long opening.
• Have you planned and communicated with Carolina Mobile Storage the optimal location for your container doors based on the final destination of your container? For example, if you requested a container to be placed against a fence, you would request that the doors be loaded to the cab so that when the truck pulls away, the doors would be facing out for accessibility.
